It is revealed in a flashback what happened after Haruki fell asleep in the piano room after having a conversation with Kazusa after the school festival concert. How she strokes his hair, gets down on her knees, putting her face closer to his, looking at his innocent and defenseless face before kissing him.
Back in the present time following the events after revealing everything, that although they finally became friends, they'll never speak to each other again. Haruki's objections about that statement by slowly walking towards Kazusa while she tells him "stay away from me". After getting close Haruki hugs Kazusa, directing her head, explicitly implying that he will kiss her. She tells him "You can't" but he kisses her and she gives in. During their emotional kiss, Kazusa pushes Haruki away in realization and slaps him. Angrily she tells him "screw you", Haruki tries to tell Kazusa that he loves her but gets interrupted midway by her asking him "Why are you so good at it?!", "How many times have you kissed Setsuna?". Kazusa eventually runs away in tears, leaving Haruki by himself on the street before falling down on his knees.
